Still no word from DPD
Hi Everyone:
As of today, 2/3/06, we have still not heard back from The Department of Planning and Development about a meeting with the prospective developer.
Also, the window in the front of the theater is still broken, so I guess I should assume that the theater is still open to the elements. BAH!

I noticed that lone window is always missing when I go by the theater. What a shame. It looks like a perfectly nice building. SAVE THE RAMOVA!!!
by the way, when is the nest STR meeting?
Thanks for your reply. I am about to post that the City has contacted me today about a meeting and the window etc.
John Molloy tells me that their crew is unable to use the adhesive that they need to use to cover the window, due to the severe temperatures. It needs to be warmer for the glue to stick. I think this is possible valid reason why this type of adhesive isn't being used, but there must be some way to block that window and protect the interior from further destructioin without using that type of adhesive, so that was my reply. Also, they have a crew looking at the roof too.
We are tentatively scheduled in the next couple of weeks to meet the prospective developer.
I would like to call a meeting asap. More to follow.
Thanks for your concern.

JTB, would you please email me so I can coordinate the meeting with you. I'd love for you to attend.
