Sad News About The Adelphia Theater

Hello Everyone:

I have been following the struggle regarding another beautiful theater that has been theatened with demolition on the far north side of Chicago: http://cinematreasures.org/theater/1041/

I am VERY SAD to say that this group, who worked extremely hard to save the theater, did not get their wishes. The Adelphi is being torn down as we speak and will be replaced with condominiums. This is a terrible fate and the Rogers Park community will suffer the loss of the Adelphi forever. Just disgusting!
