I have that issue of the Gazette and in it I read how the 11th ward did a shady deal to the owner of the Ace Bakery . I am not surprised at all . I hope some in depth ivestigation is done. I'm sure there will be yet another 11th ward corruption scandal for the media to lap up . I am still suspicious and I will continue to be suspicious until I see the Ramova marqee flicker once again . Have the actual news television stations been contacted? How about Walter Jacobson? Or Carol Maureen? They really dig up the dirt on the 11th Ward . Especially Carrol Maureen . Save the Ramova at all costs . And yes, I am from ' da neighborhood.

Hi Nino:
No, we haven't contacted Walter Jacobson or Carol Marin yet. We sent out press releases to several reporters, but not TV. Probably not a bad idea if we want to escalate this issue. We are meeting on Tuesday with some neighbors/business owners/Preservation Chicago at Healthy Foods at 2pm and I'll bring up the TV media. We have been in the Sun Times, Gazette, Journal and Terri Hemmert on XRT mentioned us (plus we were on the XRT website too).
You should come to our meeting on Tuesday.
